Powered Platform for Window Film Removal
Our latest project was a window film removal from a Ford showroom in Exmouth, Devon.
The windows were only accessible with a powered platform, as the windows were 2.4m high the powered platform enabled us to reach the top of the windows easily.
Removing window film isn’t a pleasant job. Care must be taken to remove the window film which consists of several layers, making sure the bottom layer of polyester comes away with the rest of the window film exposing the adhesive below. Once the adhesive is exposed some mild glue and tar or similar solution can be used to soften the glue. Then it is removed with a large 6″ scraper.
Here are a few pictures of the showroom and how it looks during the window film removal.
