Fineo Glass 4 Mil Safety Film EN12600
We recently completed a specialist installation of Hanita Safety Film on Fineo vacuum‑insulated glass units, supplied by JTP Joinery. These Fineo units required safety film prior to being fitted on-site, ensuring they met safety standards and offered increased protection once installed.
FINEO is an advanced vacuum‑insulating glass system made from two ultra‑slim panes separated by a vacuum gap. This innovative structure delivers exceptional thermal performance, similar to or better than traditional double glazing — but in a much thinner, lighter format. It’s ideal for heritage properties, modern builds, and energy‑efficient upgrades.
🛡️ Why Hanita Safety Film?
To complement the high performance of Fineo glass, we applied Hanita SafetyZone safety film, designed to strengthen glazing and reduce the risk of injury. SafetyZone films transform standard glass into a safer, more resilient surface by:
For residential settings, a 4‑mil clear safety film is often enough to protect children from accidental collisions with glass doors or windows — or from the classic football‑through‑the‑window scenario.
✔️ The Result
These Fineo units are now fully protected, compliant, and ready for installation — offering the perfect combination of thermal efficiency, clarity, and enhanced safety.
