Hanita Titan 35 External Solar Control
Our latest project in Kentisbeare, Devon was to install external solar control window film on two velux panes and internal film on the kitchen windows.
Modern velux glazing tends to be double glazed with a laminated pane on the inside and toughened externally. Because laminated glass carries a slightly higher risk of cracking it is generally safer and easier to install external film (Hanita Titan 35 External) with edge sealing to prolong the film lifespan. The kitchen windows were just normal glazing and Sterling 40 was used.
Hanita Titan external films combine a reflective outer layer for high solar energy rejection with a less reflective inner layer to preserve the view outside and maintain indoor ambience. All films deliver high levels of protection from solar heat. The films cut costs by reducing the need for air conditioning and boosting energy efficiency – a sustainable solution. Durable and long-lasting color are the result of advanced nano-technology coatings.
Solargard Sterling 40 window film provides substantial heat and glare reduction, added privacy, and adequate natural light. This film is lightly tinted, hardly noticeable from the inside with a subtle, reflective finish outside.
