Artisan Hanita Matte Frosted Window Film
One of our more unusual jobs recently was to install frosted window film to this arched window in Bovey Tracey. We have installed various frosted and safety window films for Artisan Projects Ltd but this was the first arched window.
If you have worked with window film you will know it doesn’t bend without creasing, most square and rectangle window frames allow for some excess film to be pushed in and trimmed without damaging the film. With an arched or circular window the window film folds back in and immediately creases. Once creased, window film is normally ruined and it’s time to start again. With this arch we prepared a template to within 1-2mm and then trimmed the new piece of frosted film to size before fitting.
