Glass Safety Film EN 12600 BS 6206
Our latest project in Moretonhampstead, Devon was a safety film installation to meet health and safety requirements on some old single glazed windows in a community hall following an insurance assessment.
The single glazed windows were also
patterned making this a tricky install. Window film will lie flat on shallow textured glass so most of the windows were ok, a few had slightly higher textures meaning the film would only adhere to the raised parts but overall it will still provide the necessary protection required. For the internal windows
we used Hanita 4Mil Clear safety film with a 12 year warranty.
One of the windows had a frosted speckled texture and required an external safety film as the outside of the glass was smooth enabling the window film to adhere correctly. For the external window film we used a new film from our suppliers AV 4Mil Clear External 100 micron safety film which comes with a 5 year warranty.
