Since you and your family probably spend a fair amount of your lives in your home, why not make it a more comfortable one with a residential window film installation from Devon Window Tinting

Solar heat pours in through unprotected windows, causing uneven temperatures, hotspots and a constant battle with air conditioning. Our windows films keep up to 80% of solar energy out of buildings, resulting in a cooler, more controllable climate.

Low-E (low emissivity) glass and thermal efficiency, emissivity (which determines a film’s insulating performance) varies from 0.70 to 0.81 with standard window films. These numbers mean that 19% to 30% of a room’s near-infrared heat is reflected back into the space in the winter to help reduce heating costs. Standard window film offers energy- efficiency savings during cooling season, but it reduces solar gain all year long – even during winter (when heat gain could help keep the building warm).

Many homes experience problems with glare and this is not just a summer problem. If you have trouble seeing your television, have an office at home where you use a computer, or just feel uncomfortable when entering a room, we can reduce glare by up to 93%.

Johnson Window Films and Solargard Sterling range of residential window films offer some nice neutral choices which can be more suited to a residential environment, where a more subtle approach to window tinting is often preferred by our customers.
